Mariette J. Mooyman, Esquire - President, IEF Board of Directors

Mariette Mooyman practices in-house as Associate General Counsel of Airgas, Inc., a growth-oriented Fortune 500 corporation that is the leading distributor and producer of packaged gases, welding hardgoods and safety supplies, with a full line of products and services in a broad range of categories. Airgas has a national platform of approximately 1,100 locations, more than 14,000 associates and a growing number of international locations. Ms. Mooyman serves as a legal advisor on employment and compliance issues for the company.

Ms. Mooyman previously worked as Senior Counsel for CIGNA Corporation, one of the largest health service companies in the US that operates internationally in 29 countries with approximately 66 million customer relationships and nearly 30,000 employees worldwide. Ms. Mooyman worked as an employment lawyer for this global health services organization, providing strategic employment law advice both nationally and internationally and training on compliance issues.

Ms. Mooyman began her legal career in Philadelphia working as an associate at the law firm of Montgomery, McCracken, Walker and Rhoads and served as a Stagiere in the Directorate-General for External Economic Relations handling predatory pricing and anti-dumping complaints at the European Community in Brussels, Belgium.
