The Psychological Work Environment in a Global Context
December 1, 2016
The International Employers Forum (IEF) is pleased to announce its next European event will take place in Copenhagen. Join us on 1 December for an interesting discussion on global HR issues and a unique opportunity to exchange information and experiences with people from all over the world.
With a global trend of accelerated work flows, new technologies and an "always on" culture, many countries have an increased awareness to the psychological well-being of the workforce. In countries like Denmark, the psychological work environment is part of the mandatory workplace health and safety risk assessment and employees may now tip the authorities anonymously on bullying and other psychological work environment issues. And in neighbouring countries like Sweden, the Government has expanded the responsibilities for companies within matters of the psychological work environment.
We will discuss the psychological work environment and its effect on HR in a global perspective in an interactive panel discussion with an open question-and-answer session.
Before and after the panel presentation, there will be plenty of time for networking over refreshments.
Key areas of discussion will include:
- Employer's responsibilities and liabilities - trends today and for the future
- The grey lines between illness, disability and work injuries
- Roles of union and government
Moderator:
- Anders Etgen Reitz - Member, Board of Directors, International Employers Forum; Partner, IUNO (Copenhagen)
